Zoe Meyrick

Zoe is Nottingham born and bred and began playing football at just eight years old for Gedling Town. She went on to play for several local teams across the city such as Sherwood FC before joining the mighty reds Nottingham Forest, of which she is a supporter!

 

After this followed a couple of years at Leicester City's centre of excellence at just fifteen years old before returning to Forest for another two years, to then play for both Mansfield Town ladies and Notts County, each for two seasons. Staying true to her home roots, she has now come full circle and is back with Sherwood FC women's team where she get's to both play at a good standard and enjoy her love for the game.

Zoe began working for Canoville Coaching in 2021. With a desire to coach, and in particularly to work with young girls, she has made a huge impact and is an integral part of our Girls Development sessions. In 2023, she will be our first female mentor in schools, a role in which we know she will shine and add immense value.
