Born in London on 14/03/1981 Lee started playing football at the age of 7. Playing for his local grassroots team he attracted the interest of Watford and Millwall. Lee signed schoolboy forms with Millwall at the age of 14.
At the young age of 14 Lee was offered a place at the FA National school at Lilleshall. Lee left home and trained and played with some of the best young players in England at the time. Players like Michael Owen, Joe Cole, Scott Parker and Wes Brown were all teammates of Lee.
While at Lilleshall Lee represented England at U15 and continued representing his country until U20s.At the age of 16, after gaining 10 GCSEs, Lee joined Arsenal as an apprentice in the summer of 1997. After one year as an apprentice Lee signed a 3 year professional contract. Lee’s proudest moment came in November 2000 when he came on as a second half substitute against Ipswich at Highbury.
Lee gained more first team experience with loan spell to Northampton Town in February 2001.Unable to continue to break into the first team at Arsenal, Lee left Arsenal and signed for Torquay United.In a 10 year Professional career and over 200 games Lee went on to play for Shrewsbury Town, Boston United and finishing his career at Notts County.
Lee had a taste of management in 2012 returning back to Boston United. This gave Lee the passion for coaching and he quickly realised the enjoyment he got from coaching the younger players at the club.
In January 2013, Lee started Canoville Coaching. Every year it has gone from strength to strength. With a great passion for coaching children, Lee’s vision is that every child that attends Canoville Coaching should enjoy their football while learning.

Lee is qualified as a UEFA B Coach and also qualified as a Level 2 Mentor
