Rob Gill - Football Centre Manager & Coach

​

Rob AKA Gilly, joined his home town of Nottingham Forest with the U14's before moving to Doncaster Rovers at 18 years old where the team gained professional status after winning the Youth League and went on to win The National Conference and League 2, during this time he also gained an England C call up. 

​

Following on from this he spent time at Burton Albion, Scarborough, Dagenham and Redbridge before setting off for New Zealand in 2007 where he was offered a coaching and player role from an ex team mate, after this incredible opportunity ran it's course Rob returned home and put his football days behind him, or so he thought!

​

Whilst at Doncaster he had met fellow Canoville coach Tris, both being from Nottingham they soon became firm friends travelling and playing together, and in January 2022 he joined Team CC and hasn't looked back. A firm favourite with the kids on Camps, Rob brings a lot of laughs and an energy that is second to none!

Rob is now a pivotal to our team and manages the centre on a day to day basis alongside coaching.
